Six centuries of painting, from Giotto to Corot Reopening of the Painting Galeries

Following renovation work for the past year, the painting galleries will reopen to the public. These repairs are the first stage of a larger renovation project of all museums initiated by the City of Troyes. The viewer will be presented with a collection of small paintings and monumental works, known and previously unseen, from the Middle Ages to the 21st century. Major and rare works by the great masters will be exhibited: Giotto, Malouel, Spranger, Vasari, Rubens, Jordaens, van Dyck, Champaigne, Bellotto, Mignard, Le Brun, Watteau, Nattier, François Boucher, Fragonard, Hubert Robert, Greuze, Vien, David, Gustave Doré and Corot.
