The musée des Beaux-Arts de Dijon Reopening
After being closed for ten years for refurbishment, Dijon’s Beaux-Arts museum reopens on 17th May 2019 with an exhibition of famous artist Yan Pei Ming. One of the richest collections in the country will be on display in an entirely newly designed space. The Beaux-Arts museum in Dijon is, as well as the Louvre, the only art museum in France to be in a palace within the walls of the city. A beautiful and exceptional venue to showcase a rich collection of artworks: from paintings to decorative arts, including drawings and sculptures, all art forms are present from Antiquity to the 21st century. One of Burgundy and Franche-Comté’s most visited locations, it has become a flagship of Dijon’s tourist attractions.
