Nino Laisné

Nino Laisné's work is at the intersection of photography, video production and musical practice. His work comes with a certain strangeness, the artist stands out from a linear narration and seeks points of correspondence between traditional music and cinematographic language. The history of music is an integral part in his works, particularly the ambiguous relationship it has with fiction. This progressive intrusion of musical elements is also the reflection of a certain taste for multi-disciplinary arts, a keen interest in combining art methods, and for all the hybrid forms that will result from it. In this monographic exhibition, this weaving of various methods results in the production of two separate but closely related works. The exhibition follows numerous collaborations between Frac Franche-Comté and the artist, who benefited from a creative residency at Frac in 2017 and 2018.
