Musée de l’Ordre de la libération
Located in the Hotel des Invalides, the musée de l’Ordre de la Libération is dedicated to the order founded by General de Gaulle during the Second World War and the Companions of the Liberation. The museum highlights with its three main spaces, the different journeys covered by the fighters of France Libre, the resistance and those who were deported for having resisted the Nazi oppression from 1940 to 1945. To complete the historical tour, the museum organises one temporary exhibition per year. This fall is dedicated to Anna Marly, who composed the song, Chant des partisans. Some emblematic objects and sound documents make it possible to discover the life and the work of this "troubadour of the Resistance”, of whom the General de Gaulle said “that she made of her talent a weapon of France”.
