“Colours of love”

Every summer, Bourg-en-Bresse vibrates with a thousand colours of love! Young and old alike are invited to saunter around the town, going from the Monastère royal de Brou to the theatre, or through the City Hall, where they can marvel at the town’s artistic highlights and magical heritage. Starting in 2018, the Monastère royal de Brou created a scenography displaying legendary couples, as though an ode to love. From Cleopatra and Marc Antoine to Verlaine and Rimbaud, the Taj Mahal to Mexico, passions are given centre stage with lights and music.
