Chartres en Lumières is the largest light display and highlighting of national heritage in the world. With its 24 sites illuminated every night in the heart of Chartres, for a six month period, visitors are shown a magical atmosphere. For this 16th edition, a new scenography will be projected on the royal portal of Notre-Dame de Chartres, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of its World Heritage designation by UNESCO. An impressive animated projection that traces the history of Chartres, from its evolution as the fields of Beauce to the current lay-outs.
