350th anniversary of the founding of the Hôtel des Invalides
In 2020, the Musée de l'Armée celebrates the 350th anniversary of the founding of the Hôtel des Invalides by Louis XIV on February 24th 1670, with numerous events scheduled throughout the year. Guided tours on the life of the residents and the construction of the monument, multimedia tours, new 3D show or even an open-air concert in the main courtyard will punctuate the year and allow all audiences to discover or rediscover all facets of an exceptional and unique site.
