"Landscapes"

Pierre-Luc Bartoli was born in Aix-en-Provence into a Corsican family and is a figurative painter currently working in Paris. After using various techniques offered by graphic arts - watercolor, etching, pastels, acrylic - the artist returned to the use of a more traditional medium: oil painting. In his figurative works, he strives to represent his visions of everyday happenings - still life, urban landscapes - wrapped in dark and enigmatic atmospheres. He recently painted a series of paintings on the theme of nature, "Landscapes", which will be exhibited at the Marlon Railway Station Gallery.
